The art of Bianca Maria Sarno is solar, instinctive and sublime. Her painting thrusts its roots in a luxuriant nature and in the inner elevation. Bianca Maria Sarno is always seeking for heaven’s corners on the roman hills and on the Elba island, or for wandering clouds in the sky, to enrich visual sensation, to shift that vision into herself and dissolve it in the end on the white canvas.
Thus shining sun-flowers are born, variegated flowers, oranges, lemons and red pepper of lively colours, boats, seas, waved mountain shapes, “kings” of the chicken-yard that peck each other in the fight on that song for love but always lively with iridescent feathers.
The naturalistic idyll goes from love for nature to predilection for flora and fauna not yet grazed by human touch. The human being destroys both them considering himself the lord of creation, following false progress, seeking domination, creating pollution and social straits.
If we would think about responsibilities of environment decay, ecological collapse and existential uneasiness we would not be on a war footing, there would not be species risking extinction and arsons. Desolation, uneasiness and dominating depression are for the painter fruits of life sickness, a life without values, noble virtues and respect for traditions. Inner dryness and hunger for money lead to spiritual blindness that vanish only before the pure art of Bianca Maria Sarno that twists space rhythm to time melody in a perfect agreement, while creating a rarefied world without worries and full of poetry.
